As I journeyed up the coast to a place called Bahía de Los Ángeles, the Bay of LA. Here, I encountered the largest candelabro cactuses I have ever seen—beautiful, tall, and ancient, each with its own story. The stunning mountains framed them in the background, with the sandy desert stretching in between. These magnificent cactuses became my favorite subjects to capture in art, their unique forms and the dramatic landscape inspiring some of my most cherished creations.
